Change is the law of life.

Bangladesh Organization for Social Service (BOSS) is a non-profit private development organization established in the year 1992. A group of local youth and social worker of Pabna district took initiative to undertake development activities for the rural poor under the fold of BOSS and thus it came into being. BOSS is continuing its efforts in changing the society in favor of the non-arrived depressed class of the people through their empowerment in general and that of the women in particular. Besides, the main thrust areas are to establish human right specifically that of women and children, land reform & use, harmonization of ecology, agro-technology and environment management, building up socio-politico-economic-cultural awareness among the alienated backward class.

A society where men, women, children and girls treat each other respectfully, as individuals rather than objects. Each society member, has become truly themselves as they have set themselves free from discriminatory practices as either oppressors or the oppressed.

Creative Transformation of society.

To struggle to end oppression by revealing the precious substance of reality, uniting to transform the society creatively instead of a mere mechanical reproduction, without permitting any feeling of dominance or inferiority.
